ARTIST STATEMENTS

Writing and Directing Nelli's creative writing and directing practice is consistently political, comical and auto/biographical. They draw inspiration from both personal experiences and observations of others, and they use the medium of writing and stage adaptation to explore human behaviours and the aspects of those which form human identities. Nelli is fascinated by shaping the conventional understanding of text by e.g. using repetition.

Photography Nelli's approach to Photography takes into account how the surroundings and the model work together. The harmony or absolute disruption of it is what makes their work unique. They are mainly focused on fashion shoots and love to think outside the box!
